Coronavirus (Covid 19) – Guidance
Here is some guidance on the steps that you should take and the possible effect on our services during the current health crisis.
You should ensure that you keep up to date with the latest Government advice available at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public.
It's important that anyone self-isolating follows the Government's advice, to minimise the risk of infecting others. This is particularly important in houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) where individuals share amenities. If you or any member of your household has to self-isolate please inform us as soon as possible by telephone, text or email. When your period of self-isolation has ended please let us know.
Repairs and Inspections.
Our first priority is to keep you, our agents and our contractors safe. If you have a repair need please let us know in the usual way but be aware that except in cases of emergency (where there is an imminent risk to your health and safety) the works may be delayed. If a statutory Gas Safety inspection is due and you have told us that you are self-isolating we will delay the inspection until it is safe for our contractor to visit (this is in accordance with the Health and Safety Executive guidance).
We ask that wherever possible you contact us by telephone, text or email and that you only visit our office on pre-arranged appointments.
If you decide to go home, or if your property is to be left empty for any reason please let us know as soon as possible.
If you are elderly, vulnerable, far from your family or in distress for any reason we will help wherever we can (even if it’s not to do with the management of the property). Contact us by telephone, text or email and we’ll do our best.
Finally, please be patient with us if we aren’t as efficient as usual. We anticipate that our employees and contractors and their families will also be affected by the virus and that this may impact on our services
